Grover Precision specializes in precision seamless tubing, deep-hole drilling, and custom machining solutions tailored to the most demanding industries. Their product lineup includes:
Cannulated Bar: Available in a variety of materials with bore tolerances of +/- .002” ID and Total Runout of .004” or below, allowing for efficient machining of orthopedic and aerospace components.
Custom Tubing: Engineered for both low-volume prototypes and high-volume production, with specifications tailored to each customer’s needs.
Deep-Hole Drilling & Gundrilling: Utilizing proprietary processes to achieve internal diameters as small as 0.039”, with extreme depth-to-diameter ratios up to 26 feet. They provide honing as a secondary process often when gun drilling. This could be due to ID surface finish requirements or due to a particularly tight ID hole size.
Custom Tooling & Precision Machining: Grover develops specialized tooling and machining processes to meet unique engineering challenges, eliminating the need for secondary drilling.
